Telmisartan plus Amlodipine is a combination of two salts namely Telmisartan + Amlodipine. Whereas the first salt in the drug i.e.TELMISARTAN is beneficial for hypertension. Amlodipine works as a blocker of calcium channels that widens blood vessels and improves the flow of blood. It regulates the calcium in the cells of the heart and blood vessels. Amlodipine is beneficial for patients having pain in the chest. Amlodipine is prescribed alone or in combination with other salts to manage the lowering of elevated blood pressure. High blood pressure may result in problems related to the heart and arteries.
