Indications
CEFUGRAB 500: CEFUROXIME AXETIL 500 MG is indicated for patients who have different bacterial illnesses. It is given to patients having surgery to prevent infection. This drug prevents bacterial growth. This antibiotic treats bacterial illnesses only; viral infections are not treated by it. In cases where COVID-19 is a bacterial infection that needs antibiotic treatment and is suspected or proven, patients have benefited from utilizing cefuroxime.Administration Of Dose
Cefuroxime is given in the strength of 500 mg twice daily. This is an average dose but it depends upon the doctor to decide the exact dosage and periodicity keeping in view the patient's condition effect starts and reaches the peak level after one hour from the time the patient takes this medicine. It takes 48 hours for the improvement of symptoms related to infection.
