Paracetamol 325mg + Diphenhydramine 25mh + Phenylephrine 5mg  + Caffeine 30mg Tablets

AFTERCOLD-P: PARACETAMOL 325 mg + DIPHENHYDRAMINE 25 mg +PHENYLEPHRINE 5 mg + CAFFINE 30 mg is available in 10*10 blister packing. This combination is anti-cold medicine. General Physicians prescribe this medicine for the complete elimination of cough & cold. 

How Does It Work? 

Paracetamol effectively reduces fever & pain.  First salt paracetamol is a pain reducer and is given to lower fever. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine used in the symptoms of allergies & relieves colds and coughs caused by minor throat & airway irritation.  Phenylephrine is a powerful decongestant. Caffeine relieves drowsiness and improves alertness.

Indications

Administration Of Dose

The dosage & periodicity of a drug in combination with Paracetamol, Diphenhydramine, Phenylephrine, and Coffee depends upon the condition of the patient, the nature of symptoms, and age. Therefore, dosage & for how many days, the medicine is to be given is to be decided by your doctor.

Side Effects

Side Effects of Paracetamol, Diphenhydramine, paracetamol, and caffeine may include

Change in vision or blurred vision, weakness, Diarrhea, headache, sleeplessness, and intoxication. Please talk to your attending physician if your symptoms of Side Effects persist.

Precautions

Tell your doctor if you are allergic to PARACETAMOL + DIPHENHYDRAMINE + PHENYLEPHRINE  + CAFFEINE or any other medicines. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should consult your doctor before using PARACETAMOL + DIPHENHYDRAMINE + PHENYLEPHRINE  + CAFFEINE. This combination is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Do not take more PARACETAMOL + DIPHENHYDRAMINE + PHENYLEPHRINE  + CAFFEINE than prescribed as this can cause serious liver damage. Avoid excessive caffeine consumption as it can cause tremors, sleep disturbances, and chest discomfort.
