AFTERCOLD AX: Levocetirizine Hydrochloride 2.5 mg + Ambroxol HCl 15 mg + Guaiphenesin 50 mg + Menthol 1 mg SYRUP is available in PET packing of 100 ml. AFTERCOLD AX syrup is prescribed by Pediatrics and General Physicians for expelling the multiple symptoms of respiratory allergies.
How Does It Work?
Levocetirizine reduces sneezing, rhinorrhea, and nasal pruritus. Ambroxol promotes the removal of tenacious secretions from respiratory tracts to reduce mucus stasis. Guaiphenesin decreases sputum quantity in productive coughs. Menthol soothes the inflamed throat. Ambroxol, Guaifenesin, Levocetirizine, and Menthol are four medications that treat a cough that produces mucus: Ambroxol, Guaifenesin, Levocetirizine, and Menthol. A mucolytic called ambroxol thins and loosens phlegm, making it easier to cough out. Guaifenesin, an expectorant, facilitates the removal of airway secretions from the airways by lessening the secretions' stickiness. Levocetirizine is used to treat allergy symptoms including sneezing, watery eyes, and runny nose. Menthol is an organic substance that has a cooling effect and calms mild throat irritation.
