The bi-layered tablet PYREGEM SR: Paracetamol 300 mg (Immediate Release) + Paracetamol 700 mg (Sustained Release) is programmed so that 300 mg of paracetamol is released in one dose and the remaining 700 mg is released in blood over 12 hours slowly, maintaining prescribed 3 mcg/ml therapeutic levels for safer longer action. This combination of immediate-release and Sustained-release tablets of paracetamol is a new concept adopted by Biofield Pharma Pvt Ltd in tablet form with a pack size of 10*10 in a blister pack. Gynecologists and general practitioners prescribe this bi-layered tablet to provide effective, long-lasting pain and fever relief. One dose of paracetamol is delivered, and the remaining 700 mg is steadily released in the blood over the period of 12 hours, maintaining the recommended therapeutic level of 3 mcg/ml for longer, safer action.

Indications

Administration Of Dose 

PYREGEM SR: Paracetamol 300 mg (Immediate Release) + Paracetamol 700 mg (Sustained Release) is much better than conventional paracetamol 500mg tablets for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever. It maintains the minimum effective paracetamol concentration (until 12 hours) compared with a conventional 500 mg tablet (6 hours). A brand-new SR paracetamol formulation has been created by Biofield Pharma Pvt Ltd that comes in bilayer tablet form and includes 1,000 mg of paracetamol (paracetamol 1,000 mg SR tablet). It releases 700 mg of paracetamol as the SR (70%) layer and 300 mg of paracetamol as the instant release (IR) (30%) layer. To deliver 2,000 mg of paracetamol per day without sacrificing its analgesic and antipyretic action, the 1,000 mg SR formulation of paracetamol has been formulated to be taken every 12 hours (twice a day).

Side Effects
