Albiget Plus: ALBENDAZOLE 400 mg + IVERMECTIN 6 MG is a combination of two medications in a single tablet. The tablets are available in a 10*10 ALU ALU pack. Children specialists prescribe this medicine for the symptoms associated with a worm infestation.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Ivermectin works to paralyze and destroy worms by attaching to their muscle and nerve cells. Albendazole prevents the worms from absorbing sugar to lose energy and eventually perish. This efficiently heals your infection. These medications in combination are broad-spectrum anthelmintics and decrease the prevalence and intensity of intestinal helminth infections. Albiget Plus: ALBENDAZOLE 400 mg + IVERMECTIN 6 MG tablet effectively clears bancroftian microfilaraemia. It reduces the prevalence of trichuriasis infection more than either drug alone. It results in significantly greater gains in height or weight in children.
