The active component in BIOIFIELD - ESSOM-DSR (SUSTAINED RELEASE) in a single capsule is Esomeprazole (Enteric coated) 40 mg plus Domperidone 30 mg. It is available in a 10*10 ALU-ALU packing. These single-capsule medications are used to treat GERD issues. In GERD patients, ESOMEPRAZOLE shows a higher rate of esophagitis healing than Omeprazole. For the quick relief of heartburn symptoms in patients with acid reflux esophagitis, ESOMEPRAZOLE (ENTERIC COATED) 40MG is more effective than Omeprazole, Lansoprazole, and Pantoprazole. The long-term safety profile of DOMPERIDONE (SUSTAINED RELEASE) 30MG is excellent. The drug DOMPERIDONE has a greater ability to counteract the dopaminergic effect, and treatment helps to avoid subsequent GI symptoms.
How Does It Work?
Domperidone + Esomeprazole is a combination drug containing the two drugs Domperidone and Esomeprazole. The prokinetic medicine Domperidone acts on the upper digestive tract to accelerate the motility of the stomach and intestines and ease the transit of food through the stomach. Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) like Esomeprazole work by lowering stomach acid levels, which relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Esomeprazole 40 mg is a better option than omeprazole which provides more effective acid control than twice the standard dose.
