How Does It Work?

The first available salt in the drug is amoxicillin. It’s an antibiotic. It belongs to the penicillin-like class of antibiotics. It disrupts the structure of the protective envelope of bacteria, without which bacteria cannot survive. Clavulanic acid is also an antibiotic. It is famous as a suicide inhibitor. If clavulanic acid alone is not effective, a combination of Amoxycillin and clavulanic acid is recommended for effective symptomatic treatment. In other words, when amoxicillin is not effective, it is given in combination with clavulanic acid to achieve the desired results. In combination with amoxicillin, clavulanic acid can defeat the resistance of bacteria to antibiotics. Bacteria emit B-lactamase, which inactivates amoxicillin or penicillin-like antibiotics, and clavulanic acid deactivates the action of bacteria. Therefore, a beta-lactamase inhibitor deactivates resistance and increases the effect of amoxicillin against bacteria. The third salt is Lactobacillus or Lactic Acid Bacillus. Some healthy gut bacteria are also killed during the treatment of a bacterial infection. Lactobacillus is added to the above drug combination to help restore the balance of healthy bacteria.

Amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, and lactobacillus work together to provide a potent antibiotic that can treat a variety of bacterial infections and rebuild healthy gut flora. These infections may affect the respiratory system, the genitourinary system (the female reproductive and urinary systems), or the teeth, skin, and bones.

Indications

Administration Of Dose

Missed Dose
