INDICATIONS OF DISODIUM HYDROGEN CITRATE SYRUP
Disodium Hydrogen Citrate is a urinary alkaliser used to treat kidney stones, gout, and renal tubular acidosis. Calcium, phosphate, and other minerals and acid salts combine to form small, hard deposits known as kidney stones that adhere to one another in concentrated urine. The condition known as renal tubular acidosis occurs when the kidneys are unable to eliminate acids in the urine, which results in the blood remaining overly acidic.
ADMINISTRATION OF DOSE
The recommended dosage of syrup in adults is 15 to 30 ml twice or thrice a day. However, consume the syrup, as advised by your treating Physician as he is to consider various parameters like age, gender, and medical condition while deciding the dose and duration of treatment.
