INDICATIONS
URSOGET SYRUP: Ursodeoxycholic Acid 125 mg SUSPENSION is indicated for the treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis, a condition where the bile duct in the liver becomes damaged, leading to the building up of bile. This syrup is helpful to dissolve gallstones caused by excess cholesterol in the gall bladder where the gallstones are not visible on a simple plain X-ray. URSOGET SYRUP: Ursodeoxycholic Acid 125 mg SUSPENSION is effective in liver disease associated with fibrosis in children aged from one month to eighteen years.
ADMINISTRATION OF DOSE
The Doctor’s advice must be adhered to while taking this medication. Never exceed or undershoot the suggested or prescribed intake of syrup. If you have any side effects, speak with your doctor. You must complete the treatment as per the advice of your doctor. Do not discontinue taking this syrup unless medically advised to do so by your treating doctor.
SIDE EFFECTS
Some patients may experience side effects on using URSOGET SYRUP: Ursodeoxycholic Acid 125 mg SUSPENSION. These side effects may include Diarrhea, Bloody and cloudy urine, Dizziness, Indigestion, Headache, Fever and cough, and Constipation. Please consult your doctor in case any of these side effects persist.
PRECAUTIONS
Patients with a known allergy to bile acids or any other inactive substances included in the formulation are not advised to take this medication.
Patients with bile duct enlargement, obstruction, distortion, or fistula are not advised to take this medication.
Patients with a non-functioning gallbladder or disorders like gallbladder enlargement or poor contractility are not advised to take this medication.
