MAXIWOK KT: Moxifloxacin 0.5%& Ketorolac 0.5% is a combination of two medications available in eye drops. Eye specialists prescribe these drops for eye bacterial infections. An eye medicine called KETOROLAC+MOXIFLOXACIN is primarily used to treat and prevent bacterial eye infections and itchy eyes brought on by seasonal allergies. After cataract or corneal refractive surgery, MAXIWOK KT: Moxifloxacin 0.5%& Ketorolac 0.5% eye drops also reduce edema, pain, and burning or stinging sensations. A bacterial eye infection happens when bacteria infiltrate any area of the eyeball or the tissues that surround it, including the conjunctiva and cornea (the clear front surface of the eye) (thin membrane lining the outer eye and inner eyelids).
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The combination of the antibiotics ketorolac and moxifloxacin is known as ketorolac + moxifloxacin. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug is ketorolac (NSAID). It works by preventing the production of specific chemical messengers that cause discomfort and inflammation (redness and swelling). Antibiotics include moxifloxacin. Kills bacteria by stopping bacterial cell division and repair.
