Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate Eq. to Esomeprazole 40 Mg (With Sodium Bicarbonate As Buffer)
ESINOM – FAST 40: ESOMEPRAZOLE 40 MG WITH SODIUM BICARBONATE AS BUFFER is available in 10*10 strip packs, in tablet form. This medication is prescribed for acidity-related problems. Buffered esomeprazole reaches and maintains a pH greater than 6 within minutes of administration. Buffered Esomeprazole is better than i.v. pantoprazole in an equivalent dosage.
An inner core of uncoated esomeprazole with sodium bicarbonate covering makes up buffered esomeprazole (BE), an oral formulation. Along with its initial antacid properties, the buffer guards esomeprazole against acid breakdown.
ESINOM – FAST 40: ESOMEPRAZOLE 40 MG WITH SODIUM BICARBONATE AS BUFFER tablet is recommended for the short-term (4 to 8 weeks) treatment of erosive esophagitis that has been diagnosed and is expected to improve. The second cycle of esomeprazole for 4 to 8 weeks may be considered in individuals who have not recovered after 4 to 8 weeks of treatment.
Esomeprazole is recommended for the short-term (up to 6 weeks) treatment of erosive esophagitis caused by acid-mediated GERD in infants aged one month to less than one year.
